This review is from: AC / DC – Live at Donington (DVD) absolute best on the highest band on a surround sound system.
AC / DC posts for the fans, and they consistently deliver.
I doubt very much that the DVD is overdubbed, because the sound is the same as every other AC / DC release. But even if it is overdubbed, What the hell …
This is a great show, and the goods are delivered.
Angus plays brilliantly, the audience and works perfectly. As for the alleged differences between what you see and hear what you … Angus is 5 “2 so that its game of the Gibson SG, he is deceptive, it looks one way if it physically creates the sound of what his body does and his left hand technique. Hard to explain, but what you see is not always what you hear.
The other thing that I thought everyone would know, movie viewer, is that in making a concert film, a second, third, or whatever, is for the camera “inserts” and this is as good as can be done … which does not always work, this does not mean that the track is overdubbed, but only that the line-editor, and edit the final file do not match.
      Anyway, this is excellent.
Get No Bull: Live in Madrid, and the DVD of AC / DC Live in Munich … Extremely Brilliant !!!!!!!!
This is a real step from the original VHS release.

    Takes no prisoners
These guys were on that night. Angus was a show in himself and the sound and camera work was excellent.

    Good Music, Poor Video
Gave this a two because of the songs. The video on this DVD is very poor. I don’t even think that the sound is from the actual concert.

This review is from: AC / DC – Live at Donington (DVD) After this I have never been previously published (in the U.S.) AC / DC concert from Castle Donington, I was surprised at the quality of this DVD. But after just watching it several times and Angus Young makes his fingers like Fretwork I unfortunately found that parts of this concert have been doctored. That is the reason for the excellent sound, lots of overdubs. For certain songs, it is obvious Angus guitar riffs have been tampered with and cleaned. His fingers are not identical to what he plays on a number of songs. Nevertheless, it sounds great, but was it really necessary? Possibly the original concert tapes were of inferior quality, and this was part of the reason for the “cleansing” so to speak. The concert itself is amazing with Angus running back and forth makes his famous goosewalk how he Strum Gibson SG Standard guitar. The energy level can never be sure, and the whole band sounds great. Singer Brian Johnson's voice fits very well with the former AC / DC Bonn Scott material such as “Jailbreak,” “Hell Is not A Bad Place To Be,” “Highway To Hell,” “The Jack”, ” ; Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap “, etc. Since this concert was in 1991, AC / DC a couple of their songs from the new (then)” Razor's Edge “album such as” Thunderstruck “and” Fire Your Guns ” . There are the usual songs like “Back In Black”, “You Shook Me All Night Long,” “Hells Bells,” “Shoot To Thrill” all from their 1980 “Back In Black” album as well as a few Other albums such as “Heatseeker” and the hymn “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)”. The image quality is also excellent on this DVD, which by the way is two hours long. There is also a colorful booklet with the DVD, AC / DC 's 1991 “Razor's Edge” tour dates and information about the Castle Donington concert. I recommend this DVD to all AC / DC fans as well as heavy metal rock fans worldwide.

    It doesn’t get any better!
I love AC/DC and this DVD was great. The 5.1 surround sound is awesome and so is the rest.

I know that this concert was filmed back in 1991, and compare them to the last recording, the HD is not a fair comparison, but I doubt that there is much difference from the regular DVD and Blu Ray version. The material is very grainy, and if the shots from a distance it looks like every other pixel on the screen is a white dot. The sound is great (especially if you have a good theater system), but the video of this panel is not what I would expect for the high-definition.

    Atmosphere captured!
Wow! What atmosphere! Pity about the fake sound. But the atmosphere at the concert must have been truly magnificent! And the way they captured it on film! I was blown away!
