…soihadto… Biography - …soihadto… Discography - All Heavy Metal Bands

The debut LP, ”Adventure Stories (Not Based On Fact?),” from Baltimore instrumental post-rockers …soihadto… combines powerful rock-and-roll with thoughtful arrangements and catchy time changes, proving that post-rock remains a genre to genuinely get excited about. The band features Duff Goldman from the Food Network’s hit show ”Ace of Cakes.” The album was recorded at Magpie Studios with legendary producer/engineer J. Robbins (Clutch, Ponytail, Against Me!). For fans of From Monument to Masses, Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

  • From hearing about the band via watching Duff’s show Ace of Cakes, when Charm City Cakes did the cake for Grape Juice Records, I decided to listen to some of the songs from the band’s MySpace page. For a person not really into indie rock, the song were great pleasure to listen too. I love how the songs transition from the intros to ending.

  • Classic prog style……Great builds…….flavorful! Intrigate to say the least! If you were to hear the thought process this would be that soundtrack. Very visual. Very nice start up CD!

  • I bought this after downloading the free song amazon had and listening to the samples of the rest, and im fairly satisfied with what I got. The samples give you a pretty good idea of what the entire disc sounds like. This is one to put on when you’re only semi-interested in paying attention to music you’re listening to.

  • This album is crazy good. I just started listening to post rock stuff and this is by far the best post rock album I have found thus far. A lot of buildups into just absolute chaos. I myself am really into guitar and every song on this album has at least one awesome riff. Its always awesome finding a band that nobody else knows about, this is that band! buy this!
