When I was in high school, the album “The Crucified” was released and it was pure heaven for a kid like me who was not permitted to listen to any of the band’s mainstream contemporaries. What made them awesome was their musical talent – this was one of the first true hardcore/ punk/ thrash bands that claimed Christ and really was hardcore/ punk/ thrash. (The 80s are replete with mediocre artists that were little more than poseurs.)
I love the old material as much today as I did back when I was a kid and nostalgia has nothing to do with it. Makes me want to grab my board and go skate!
