  • Everybody says it, they are right. Bury Your Dead leads tough guy hardcore. Sure its nothing new but they do it well. The lyrics are above average, the drums impressed me. The breakdowns obviously own(overal the guitar playing was good because it didn’t make me feel like I was listening to the same riff through the whole cd). The vocals are definetly in the spirt of Throwdown Terror and Hatebreed. The booklet is actually told like a picture book, it looks like its set to be in the 50’s and the b/f is caught cheating, kills the girlfriend hides the body and so on. One original thing about this cd though is the names, all after Tom Cruise movies (That short shmuck better be flattered) if you thought “you had me at hello” was brutal, you havent heard anything yet. Grab a copy of this cd, learn the lyrics and get in the pit.
