Pierced Arrows, the Portland-based trio comprised oflegendary members Fred and Toody Cole of the seminalpunk band Dead Moon, will release their sophomore LPDescending Shadows on February 2nd.Following the disbandment of Dead Moon in 2006, Fredand Toody continued their endeavors, eventuallytapping veteran Portland-based Kelly Halliburton(Severed Head of State, Defiance) to play drums for theirnext incarnation as Pierced Arrows.Descending Shadows expands on their fervently roughsignature sound, recorded at Portland’s Buzz or HowlStudios and mastered to vinyl lacquer per tradition atFred and Toody’s home.
