I’ve been a fan of SFU for going o 6 years now. As most fans know they sing about rotting corpses and necrophilia. But in this one, its a bunch of Ac/Dc covers. The first song Hell’s Bells kicked A$$! I liked their riffs better then Ac/Dc’s for that song. The funniest part is when Chris Barnes sings “You shook me all night long” in death metal. I laughed through the entire song. If you want to pick up this album, buy it used, but don’t pay the full price.
Cover of AC/DC’s Classic ”Back In Black” album with Chris Barnes signature vocals.

Metal Album Reviews[RSS]
This album is gotta be one of the worst metal albums of all time. Pure crap!!! I loved Graveyard Classics, but this just horrifying to listen to. This is the best that they could do? It is very laughable. Just not good. Why on earth would you cover a whole album!?! Why not cover an array of artists instead of one? No original thought put into this piece of filth. Thank the metal gods they redeemed themselves with “13″.
I say whats important first, Six Feet Under is not death metal. Now then lets review. AC/DC let loose on a lil ditty known as Back in Black, and quite the succsesful impact it made. I give thanks to SFU for having the DC love, but keep it in your living room, DC wasn’t ment to be heard this way. Though if a jr. higher is looking for a groove to impress with here you go. Maybe you’ll get lucky and pick up on classic rock. But hopefully you will grow out of the umm pop rock stage that Six Feet Under has been crowned the apitimy of since 1995.
For one think, most might think that I am crazy for giving this album 4 stars. I can explain. This is an absolute gift for metal fans. First off, lets remember that we are reviewing a COVER album. So its not fair to be so cruel on the band for putting out this release. Most of us SFU fans know that AC/DC had a huge influence on Chris Barnes and company, and putting a full cover album of Back in Black in genius. I love almost every single song on this album, as I enjoy the effort SFU put every song, and trying to play it as crushing and heavy as possible. OK OK, everyone complains that the guitar work is lame, and Barnes vocals suck…Hey, did you expect a death metal band to sing. Barnes growls and grunts are the reason most of us are fans. Second, for the guitar work. Steve Swawson isnt exactly Angus Young, so I didnt expect the hear blaring AC/DC solos in this effort. What we have hear is a nice solid, heavy in your face version of Back in Black which could only be pulled off by SFU. Enjoy it for what is is worth.! And just another note, how many of you would agree that Garage Days Re-REvisted, the 5.98 EP was one of Metallicas best? And no I dont mean the garage days they released a few years ago, but the orginal in 1987. Have fun with this one.>…
The beginnings of these songs aren’t that bad, but when the vocals come in, it’s ruined. Chris sounds like he’s out of breath and trying to force the words out(lay off the pot). One thing that I think Six Feet Under should do is get a second guitarist. If you want to get a good metal tribute/cover album, get Iced Earth’s Tribute to the Gods.
