I recently listened to “Hatebreeder” and “Follow the Reaper” side by side, and while I have concluded from them that “Children of Bodom” are a much better band then “Are You Dead Yet” had me believe at first, it is “Hatebreeder” that gave me chills down my spine! Every song stands out on this album and the neoclassical guitar and keyboard work sets this band apart! While other offerings may be more hardcore, this album is the most musically interesting!
