  • Incredible – check out the live version of “Buried” – 10 times heavier than the studio version and all the better for it. No other live death metal release (and yes, that includes Deicide) comes even close to the brutality of this one. Buy buy buy !!!!!! Now tour the U.S. you bastards !!

  • This must be the best live album i own. Since it’s live it’s heavier than the studio versions. This cd has songs from just about all of their albums so you get a perfect mix of head-smashing speed and heaviness, and incredible melody. All of the songs are performed with extreme accuracy. This is one of the best albums of 99 and one of the best death metal albums ever. If you like this one do not expect to get this same ear-splitting heaviness with their self titled album. The album Hypocrisy is better if you want less growling, and more melody.

  • This is a great live album. Recorded at the ‘98 Wacken Open Air Festival, this CD presents Hypocrisy back in the road (they disbanded after the great “The Final Chapter”). They sound simply amazing and P.Tagtgren does an excellent job with the guitar and vocals. The booklet offers just a couple of photos. This CD can be taken also as a compilation, for it has songs of every album. And the 4 studio tracks are great.”Time Warp”(this version, not the one featured in “Hypocrisy”) is one of Hypocrisy’s violent songs ever. “Hypocrisy Destroys Wacken” is a good album to start, if you want studio stuff, get “Abducted” or “The Final Chapter” or old stuff like “Penetralia”.

This was the first Hypocrisy album I bought and not only has it become one of my favourite albums but Hpyocrisy have become one of my favourite bands. • This cd is simply amazing! The fact that it is a live album & that the sound quality is magnificent is just mind-blowing! A great deal of musicianship was put into the selecting of Hypocrisy songs that were to be played throughout this album, and the selection was made well. Hypocrisy makes a fine balance between thier more shredding songs and their more melodic songs. They play songs from ever single Hypocrisy album (up to date), and they play them almost exactly perfect. I would recomend this album as a starter to anyone who has not yet heard Hypocrisy, or wants to get into Hypocrisy. It provides a very diverse look onto the ingenius band.
