  • Scorpions Live Bites is one of those hidden jewels that flew under the radar when it came out in 1995. The album is still virtually unknown outside of their hardcore fan base to this day. No fault to the album itself, it just happens that way sometimes. “Live Bites” just flows. Song after song work perfectly together here, from the hard hitting opener “Tease Me, Please Me”, to the melon collie “When The Smoke Is Going Down”. After your into about the third or forth song, the album sort of sucks you in. It doesn’t matter if “Rock You Like A Hurricane” or any other famous hits aren’t here. “Live Bites” makes you forget about those tunes this time around. This album is strong enough to stand on it’s own, and is a testament to the Scorpions longevity and their ability to be a superior live act. If you like hard rock, classic rock, hammering guitar solos, thunderous drums and bass, you’ll love this album. I’ve got over 1,000 rock albums, a lot of which are live albums. This one is in my top 5 live albums of all time. Great clean sound, catchy song list, you won’t be disappointed with this one. Rock on!!!
