As stated in previous reviews, this CD is a great addition to any STRYPER collection. All songs sound better than the original versions. Part is obviously due to the power that comes through the outstanding live renditions. But there’s more. STRYPER is leveraging Oz Fox’s great voice, which used to get lost in the background. Michael Sweet’s voice sounds more manly. His screams remain awesome! Robert Sweet let loose in drums, adding to the overall power of their performance. Yet – what’s the deal with “Winter Wonderland”?

Outside of a few tracks, the set list here is almost identical to the 7 Weeks Live in America. Still that’s not really a bad thing because they are tightly written songs. My only complaint is that the song Lady didn’t make it on here. A fine live album by veteran Christian metal band.

If you love the dvd of this show, buy this cd! The sound is great! Sing Along Song is my favorite track on here, but every song is a lot of fun to listen to!

Stryper was one of the greatest Christian rock bands in 80’s and this live album truly gives the best image from their live show. Some songs sound even better live as in studio…for example “Sing Along Song”, “You Won’t Be Lonely”, “Loud ‘N’ Clear” and “Reach Out”. Stryper has an excellent live power with their songs. There’s so many songs from the record “To Hell With the Devil”…seven! But of course, it is their most popular album. There’s also three from “Soldiers Under Command”, two from “The Yellow and Black Attack!”, and “Caught in the Middle” from “Against the Law”. I would say that some songs like “Always There for You”, “The Rock That Makes Me Roll”, “Shining Star”, and “The Reign” would have also worked, and there would have plenty of room in this live album…(this is only 63 minutes). Anyway, this album is played perfectly, sung perfectly, and mixed perfectly…and of course there’s a great audience!
