My kick is fully sampled. My toms are sampled from my own toms and a blend of a sample, and my snare is blended with 2 different samples blended at ~80% with ~20% of my real snare. Why do I sample my kit? Because it sounds like shit. I have an 8 year old Pearl export kit that is beat up and has crappy heads, and missing some lugs that disable the ability to keep tuning for more than 10 minutes of playing. This is my favourite song off of 'Ritual' and I knew I needed to cover it as soon as I heard it. Everybody on my Facebook page voted for this song to be my next cover, but I knew if it didn't win I would do it eventually anyway. It took quite a bit to get a run I was satisfied with. This cover is pretty accurate but not 100%, due to kit limitations and my playing. It also took quite a long time to mix and get the video looking the way I wanted to look.
