Coheed and Cambria: "Welcome Home" Intro/Riff Lessons
This is "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria. The audio is quiet so turn your volume up a bit. The song is in E Flat, but I'm in standard GUITAR: Gibson Les Paul Custom '68 RI Triburst AMP: Line 6 Spider III 75 Watt It starts out with an acoustic, but if you are playing it on an electric guitar, just put it on a clean setting. It kicks into distortion for the main riff. My distortion is a little heavier than it needs to be. For those of you who dont know what a "Pinch Harmonic" is, it's the little squeal you make. You don't necessarily need distortion to do them, but it brings out the sound more. You may want to look up some tutorials on how to do them if you are having trouble with them after this video. It may sound confusing when I explain what both guitars are doing, but just keep listening and it'll make sense in the end. All of the sound came from the amp. I am not using any external effects equipment. I have no tabs for this song.
