  • I’m a big Thin Lizzy fan, i have the Phil Lynott’s solo album and against that record this pair of concerts are really awsome, the version of Yellow Pearl are to much better that the studio albums, the clasic Black Rose’song SARAH is amazing and a little bit faster that the original, Lynott make interaction with the people all the time.

Like a curiou note, in the intro of The boys are back in town th band play the clasic Police song “Every Breath You” Mr Lynott sang like he could. The sound is very good, maybe the apreciation af the person that make the observation of the guitar sound in firsts songs is right, but in general is a great set, a beauty presentation and inserts. Somethin special for Enjoy it. LONG LIVE PHIL LYNOTT

  • Just a word of caution, not a review “per se”. Yes this is a soundboard recording, but still very raw. John Sykes’s guitar is so low in the mix it is literally absent on the first two tracks and just barely audible on most of this release.Whoever was working the soundboard did not start raising the volume on Syke’s guitar until well into tracks 3 & 4; and even then the volume of the keyboards drowns out much of his playing. Yes this is a must have for ANY Phil Lynott fan. But do not expect anything even close to Thin Lizzy on these discs.

  • Top notch album. The only down side was that the second cd which is just the same concert again on the second night. The sound quality is very good and Philo is at his brillant best.

  • I just purchased this album and i must say im very impressed with it. I never knew how good Phil was solo and live without thin lizzy. John Sykes does a good job playing the guitar and so does the rest of the band. Highlights are Sarah,Old Town,Solo in Soho and basicly both albums are amazin. The one thing like the other reviwer said is that both albums contain the same songs because two shows were recorded in the same day. So i say buy cause its really hard to pass up something that has to do with Thin Lizzy or Phil Lynott.PEACE OUT
