  • Being from Philadelphia, this band was a huge deal in the 80s. I even remember when they went from being a “local bar band” then Night Songs came out and they were on MTV and it was cool to see their success. However, while Cinderella was (is) a good band, I don’t think they are ever going into the Hall of fame or anything like that. Back in the day I had Night Songs on cassette and Long Cold Winter on LP, and now a couple of decades later I wanted to hear “Shake Me” again so I picked up this CD. I debated between getting Night Songs and this greatest hits, and figured the hits disc might have some gems I hadn’t heard. My overall feeling to this CD is…. “eh.” After several listens, Shake Me is still my favorite and often the only song I listen to from this disc. If you’re anything less than a hardcore Cinderella groupie, this CD should be all you need from this band. Tom Keifer’s voice kind of wears on me after a while. Eric Brittingham is a heck of a nice guy. I wanted to love this CD but it kind of fell short of my hopes. Standout tracks: Shake me, Nobody’s Fool, Gypsy Road
