As you hear the opening distortion to “Black” you can’t help but be reeled into the power this album has. “Black” was the only song i had heard from this album and it was all i needed to buy it. The song opens you up into this aggressive, no holds barred rock album. Sevendust is a breath of fresh air in the middle of a dulled out immature rock scene we’ve been getting lately. Lajon has a mindblowing voice and proves that you don’t need to be an angry white guy to be metal. I recommend getting this album, especially if you’re looking for something that gives you hope that rock will never die.
