This was an excellent album that unfortunately didn’t make as much of a crossover succes as it could/should have. The most familiar title , Hemorrhage (In My Hands), received a lot of airplay, but it’s a far cry from representing the entire album. There’s some good, hardhitting tunes, such as Down, Last Time, and Empty Spaces. My fellow drummers will especially love the artistic use of a double bass pedal without making it a thundering show of itself. Other songs, such as the aforementioned Hemorrhage and Innocent pack a more soulful punch to it. Easily one of my favorite albums, and so few people have heard its best songs.
