Simply put this latest album from satyricon is a masterpiece, in specific the opening track, commando, is a belting, hammering sonic blast unlike anything this band has done before. In fact I was not really a fan of their last few albums and had basically given up on them but this release has fixed all that. This is a great metal album that anyone could enjoy even if you don’t particularly care for black/death metal.
