The Acacia Strain are one of my favorite bands in the metalcore scene. This album varies just a little from their last two albums, in the fact that since “3750″, they have dropped from three guitar players to only two, which makes their sound not so clastrophobic.
Otherwise, this disc is pretty much the same as all the others. An aural pummeling greets you with the second track after the intro, and doesn’t let ep from there until the very end. A very talented band, I hope they stick together for a long time to come.
