  • The problem with this Record does not lie in it’s length. There is a reason the cd is priced lower, and you pay for what you get. Im personally glad that its not 50 minutes of Born of osiris breaking out ear drums and only half that. But boy is this music tasty. Abstract art may be the greatest death metal song ever and has the greatest breakdown in history IMHO. The Synths give the album a taste of variety, but SLIGHTLY more variety structurally would boost this 4.5 star to a 5 star rating. Hopefully they get it right on “A Higher Place”, released in a week or so. Check these young geniuses out!

  • This band is awesome! While the disc may be a bit short, it leaves you wanting more. If you get a chance to see these guys live, they put on a great show.

  • im not one to be fussy about the length of an album, especially if its this good…i really enjoy listening to this album, they are similar to the faceless, but they take a more ‘core’ and less technical approach, which suits me better…lol the breakdown in abstract art is soo fricking cool

  • i just saw these guys with beneath the massacre and a couple crappy bands. i had no idea how young these guys are (or look at least)!

regardless, there are some really solid tracks on this album along with some that feel a little under-developed. it is, like everyone else says, super-short which is somewhat of a letdown. however, the tracks are pretty technical, lots of start/stop work. the synth is a nice touch that creates a catchy groove to a lot of the tracks. i just hope these guys keep working at it because the have the potential to become a truly “epic” and brutal band.
