In my opinion this is one of the best true rock music releases of the 90’s. Being a huge David Bowie fan, I was getting a little tired of the last two albums he released in the late 80’s, though I do love them.
Tin Machine was a fresh direction for him in a playful way; creating a small 4 piece combo that was a solid ball of rock. I was so excited to hear this from him, because you know, Bowie is really one of the original rockers and he had not really pushed that button since Ziggy.
All well written songs with no dead spots on this release, I find it hard to believe other reviewer gave so low of stars, undeservingly I might add.
For this release will become a classic hard rock album that will always sound fresh and on the cutting edge with David Bowie voice and Reeves Gabrels futurist guitar solos you really cannot go wrong. Then you got the Hunt Brothers as a driving solid rhythm section.
Tim Machine is a model of what a 4 piece band should sound like and the fun you should have creating music together.
