Above are some of the best lyrics Jonas has conjured. This album blew me away at the time I first heard it in ‘99 as great example of the Cure gone metal… it has since been eclipsed by the albums after it but is as essential as anything Katatonia has done from Brave Murder Day onwards. Really more of 4.5/5 but then again most their albums are. Also has Dan Swano on drums (Nightingale, Edge of Sanity, producer of Opeth’s Morningrise and Orchid).
