Metal Album Reviews[RSS]
AC is one of the best bands ever. This is not their best album ever, but it is still amazing enough to get 5 stars. Their cover of American Woman is like 100billion times better than the original and better on an infinite level than Lenny Kravitz or any song that he has ever done. Seth Putnam is the best screamer of any core or genre hands down. He even busts out some high girly like vocals in Flower Shop Guy just to get you all wussified before he pummels your eardrums with the abomnination that is his scream. If you like this album and enjoy the humor within, check out Northern Impaled Moonforest…they are the best band ever.
IT’s A.C…BUY IT!!!!!!
IF YOU HATE THEM…GOOD..YOUR ONLY FUELING THE FIRE!!!
SETH WAS IS IN A COMA..TIME FOR ME TO WRITE THE SONG ”SETH IS GAY AND IN A COMA” lol..I am sure he would want it this way!!
I’m a big A.C. fan, i have most there releases in one form or another. This album was one of the last ones i picked up, and was one of the most disappointing. Don’t get me wrong, i think it was good, but pales in comparison to its to cd predicessers(sp?) – morbid florist and everyone should be killed. the main reason i didn’t like this album was its volume level, for some unkown reason this album plays at a considerably lower volume than all my other a.c. albums, to me alomost ruins. This record however was a success in helping A.C. transistion from noise to grind. I would recommend this album to any A.C. fan, any person looking for an introduction to the band would be safer with morbid florist.
It’s a tough call for me: which is the best A.C. album, “Top 40 Hits” or “Everyone Should be Killed”? They are both excellent. In the end, I guess I go with “Top 40 Hits” because of the covers of “Stayin’ Alive” and “American Woman”. They just crack me up every time. They prove you can be absolutely heavy and hardcore, but still have an amazing sense of humor. Not many bands can do that. Very creative. There’s nothing for it but to get both albums. They are a great value. Look how many songs you get! The clips here don’t really do justice to the album. I’ve seen them play live, and if you ever get the chance, go for it – the live show is incredible.
