The heaviness, the brutallity, the pulse pounding adrenaline, it’s all here. Guitarists Eric and Brian Hoffman, drummer Steve Asheim, and vocalist/bassist Glen Benton are running the show. My only complaint is there’s only one song from the band’s second album Legion, and that song being Dead But Dreaming, but this album still has plenty of their classic songs (via Roadrunner days). Deicide’s music is great regardless of their lyrics, and I think every death metal fan should own this album. DEAD BY DAWN!
