X-Sinner Biography - X-Sinner Discography - All Heavy Metal Bands

Description

The new album from X-Sinner contains some of the highest octane rock n roll to date! Raw and in your face, World Covered In Blood has everything you’d expect from a great rock band including ripping anthem blues based rock with a straight up pounding rhythm section and sandpaper vocals. Very raw and live sounding in the vein of KIX and AC/DC. X-Sinner brings out the best in high energy performances, capturing excitement in every song. Your friends will be asking you if their can burn your copy of the new AC/DC album.

  • In the style of ac/dc, these guys just rock! Not as polished as some, but worth a good listen. And in this case, no negative messages to stick in your brain. Just good music for rock lovers.

  • They tried to kill of glam metal in the early ’90s, but it didn’t work. Christian rockers X-Sinner are back on the attack with “World Covered In Blood” a excellent album that rivals AC/DC’s own “Black Ice!” The only thing is X-Sinner has a message of hope which is Jesus Christ. If you have some unsaved friends that are into the likes of AC/DC then get this and share it with them. The only drawback is the vocals seem strained at times but that’s it. This is a great CD!

  • How I pray more bands like X-Sinner come along! They rock w/ style! They don’t compromise the music yet their message is pure & reliable as well! This isn’t your wimpy modern emo band, they are in your face to rock you off your feet! The vocals aren’t as sharp though, but that shoudln’t be a problem, WHY? Because other bands also don’t have vocals dominate the entire songs, yet, his vocals are clear and understandable! X-Sinner, if you read this, PLEASE GET MORE MUSIC OUT! AC/DC has nothing on you! you guys are better! ROCK ON!!!

  • It’s an in-your-face old-school rock record with awesome performances, good songwriting, and raw metal vocals! Too bad it sounds like crap.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve heard raw rock before – no digital processing, no effects, and I love it. And I understand what they were trying for here. But…

There’s a difference between “raw” and “badly done” and unfortunately this CD crossed the line from the former to the latter. And it’s a shame, too.

This really could have been the comeback recording that put X-Sinner back on the map, like recent Stryper & Whitecross recordings did. And who knows, it may still. The songs are memorable, well written and unique, and get stuck in your head easily enough (in a good way). Many of these songs are as good, if not better, than anything they did on Get It and Peace Treaty.

But the recording quality is significantly worse than even the raw “demos” they put on Loud & Proud. The vocals are thin, distorted, and all but lost in the mix. The drums & cymbals are distant and have no real depth. The bass is adequately present most of the time, and the electric guitar, thank God, is raw & tasty. But together it just sounds like they got together in a buddy’s basement with their amps and a single microphone, and pressed “Record” on their daughter’s Hello Kitty tape recorder.

And I reiterate, it’s a shame. This CD deserved so much more. If it were not for the quality issues, I would easily be recommending this disc to all my headbanging friends (and yes, I have some!).

Dare I say it? Even John & Dino Elefante could have made this disc sound better.
