Jani Stefanovic is a fricken genius. How can one man compose and arrange every instrument on this album to shear perfection? Don’t forget about Christian Älvestam. Have you ever heard such a beast on vocals. Prepare to be pummeled to a pulp by this must-have metal album of the century!!!!
There s no big secret about the musical focus of MISERATION: This Swedish quintet is death metal to the core! MISERATION is the latest effort from SCAR SYMMETRY Vocalist Christian Älvestam and Jani Stefanovic (Essence of Sorrow, Divinefire), who together perform a fast, brutal and aggressive melodic style of metal, what their homeland Sweden is best known for. LIFEFORCE RECORDS is proud to give the band s critically acclaimed debut album Your Demons, Their Angels a worldwide release and help spread their metallic plague throughout the world. Your Demons, Their Angels works towards merging the best elements of Swedish melodic death metal with the brutality and technical approach of contemporary US-death metal (ala HATE ETERNAL and SUFFOCATION), combined with a forward thinking edge. While integrating a good dose of melodies and clean singing parts, MISERATION s LIFEFORCE debut is driven by fast tempo drumming and a distinctive in-your-face guitar approach that makes you think of the early 90 s Swedish metal heroes. MISERATION s style is sophisticated without being too progressive that should appeal to fans of EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH, HYPOCRISY, SOILWORK, or early IN FLAMES. Your Demons, Their Angels is a masterpiece of rigorous heavy riffing and ruthless melodies and an impressive vision of what the future of European Death metal should sound like. Just follow MISERATION s invitation: Join us and experience the brutal power of our expression.

Metal Album Reviews[RSS]
How can a band this talented do an album this good and no one has reviewed it yet? Probably because they are a christian band. If anyone is into Scar Symmetry then know that Christian Alvestam does the vocals on this and they are sicker then ever. Jani Stefanovic, who plays with Divinefire as well as others handles most of the instruments with a little help from some friends. This thing just smokes! Clear production, massive double bass drumming with all the technicality of the aforementiond Scar Symmetry or a Communic. The price is a little high, but if you like this style at all it’s a great album with no duds.
