With a full-scale North American tour in place for 2008, an aggressive marketing team ready to go, and a household name icon steering the ship, the sky is truly the limit. First of all I would say to those who do not believe that there is only one here …. are you kidding? Vengeance is mine sounds like a hit for me. Slash's guitar work adds that heavy-metal edge to this excellent track. Now that is out of the way, Alice is the “most complete album in a long time. Far superior Dirty Diamonds. But who can be twisted Alice with writing a concept album about a serial killer named Spider. I am on my third listen, the first in my stereo, then in my CD player with iPod headphones, and now with my Bose headphones. The sound is just raw enough to hold a knife edge, and the vocals are vintage Coop. Ozzy Osbourne co-writes and contributes harmonica to Wake the Dead. If it's a weak track, I can not find it. Eric Singer plays the sound I've heard in a while. Chuck Garric bass sound brings to every track and Danny Saber demonstrates that he was more than worth. This is the album I have waited, and while I have it on CD, I can not wait for my vinyl copy!
P.S. Marilyn Manson is just a poseur! Long live Alice!
It tells a great story, each song stands alone. One can think Alice would like to have a force in the music business again, but it's more like he wants to be a musical force, his fans and friends – that should count, which in those days. Excellent guitar work & vocals compostion. Stop torturing us … Their hardcore fans need more sentences like this – more often!

Not that he ever left…
Alice’s latest is sick and twisted in the best possible way. With instantly classic lyrics such as “You look like you’d fit in the trunk of my car”, Alice gives us his version of…

Not the best Alice, but good.
This albums is an odd one, no really awesome tracks, but none are close to being bad either. I think this album would have been a little better if the guitarwork had a little more…

Alice Cooper – ‘Along Came A Spider’ (SPV)
Review no. 83. As huge of an Alice Cooper fan I’ve been since the release of ‘Killer’, I chose not to purchase this latest release until just recently, off of Ebay.
I have a promo of this CD for a month, and it was not from my CD player since. This CD brings Alice back to his roots of originality. From the outset, there are many, the riffs, the listerner back to such classics as Welcome To My Nightmare. In fact, Track 1 reminds me of the classic division of the youth of this album. Most of the familiar sounds from his 70s era. It is not a disaapointment on the entire CD. The 80s were a time when Alice tries to musically with an atempt to discuss the new wave sounds ( “Clones ..”), then the 90-years he more metal, but in 2008 he has been on what he is best suited. Yes, I have most of the trip from the'70s and just when I thought it was the end came a spider. Not released because he Alice Cooper Goes To Hell, I have so much a new Alice Cooper album. Older fans are coming back and those who never went away will be thrilled, as am I. The only problem is that FM radio does not hold a lot of spots for airing new music from older artists. But with a little luck, will be broadcast on XM and Sirius radio. Do not pass on this CD.

Vengeance Is Mine!
A great album by Alice Cooper. This album reminds me of the Alce Cooper Band here and there. The evidence lies directly in the song “Wrapped In Silk” it’s got the old school…

Totally awesome! This is the Alice I grew up to know and love. For those of you that give only 1 or 2 stars — you obviously are NOT true Alice fans.

Alice, is always interesting
I personally liked dirty diamonds and the eyes of Alice Cooper better than Spider. However, being since Alice is Alice, there will come a time when I will pick this cd out to…

alice rocks out
This is a great cd. Alice Cooper is still giving us great music, something Kiss needs to learn from. Because if they try they can come up with new stuff too.
