Animals as Leaders - Thoroughly at Home Drum Cover by Troy Wright
This was another Animals as Leaders song I learnt last year but only revisited to share on YouTube. It's another great song from their first self titled album by Tosin Abasi and Misha Mansoor. The song moves quickly with its stabby kick drum pattern and powerful half time grooves. The first half of the song is based around a polyrhythmic 4 note bass drum part, which leads into a drastic softer dynamic change in the middle smashing straight back into a big open groove, more double kick patterns and fast accents to finish out the song. Again an absolutely epically fun tune to play!
