Alex Dimou is a Greek producer born in 1988 and raised in Lamia, a small city in central Greece. If there's one word that can describe Alex Dimou, that one would be without a doubt: Talent. Alex's carreer into production started a couple of years ago in Athens, Greece,when he was only 18 years old (2007). . It was back in 2007 when Alex made his first track called "Mini-Man" in a deep, dark techno style that was just too good to stay unreleased. That was the begining and Mini-man won great success,as it has been supported by many famous djs like SASHA, PAUL VAN DYKE, RICHIE HAWTIN, NICK WARREN, DAVE SEAMAN, MARK KNIGHT, STEVE LAWLER, MARCO V, TIGER STRIPES,FERGIE, BENNY BENASSI, EELKE KLEIJN, MAURIZIO GUBELLINI, MARIO OCHOA, CHRISTIAN CAMBAS, MASHTRONIC,TONE DEPTH, and NIKOS DIAMANTOPOULOS to name but a few! On February of 2008 the remixes of Mini Man came out charting 7 remixes out of 9 in the release. All of them reached high positions in Beatport's genre charts. Nowadays Alex productions are tighter than ever, being signed by top Labels like Plastic City and Klik Records and being in the same releases along with names like: Robert Babicz, Babak Shayan (Soda Inc.),Tiger Stripes, Alex Young, Gorge, AKA AKA,Milton Channels, Nikos Diamantopoulos etc. Alex as the Sound Engineer he is, has been also doing mastering for lots of other's productions In the late 2009,Alex releases his debut album on Klik Records,called "One of us,One of them" which features 11 original tracks,with 2 out of 11 (Quiet Riot and For Her) being charted in magazines,websites,radio stations etc. As a Dj, Alex has some big gigs under his belt as well.Playing abroad in Germany (Mannheim and Berlin), England (London), Portugal,Egypt and also playing in Athens's best clubs and alongside his friend and Devilock's boss Christian Cambas who has supported Alex since the first days. Besides the dj sets,Alex is also known for his live performances.Using his equipment,he can actually produce new tracks on stage,live.And this is something you wanna watch! Alex was also interviewed in many magazines like Freeze Magazine, 37,2 magazine, Face magazine etc and a review at the "dj's mag" is at the moment the best promotional move for him!
