From the small hicktown of Chillicothe, Ohio comes the next metallic goliath. Woe of Tyrants is comprised of five long haired dudes who love to play metal as it was back in 1988, fast, furious and fucking heavy. Beginning releases in early 2004, the band met several line-up changes, as the sacrifices that come with increasing success are certainly not for everyone. They released their debut "Behold the Lion" in June 2007, and after only two months on the shelves the band was already in talks with several major players in the independent label market.
In October 2007, Woe of Tyrants signed a multi-album deal with Metal Blade Records, and immediately began writing what will be their first worldwide release entitled "Kingdom of Might", which hit the charts in January 2009. The album was engineered entirety by Joey Sturgis of Foundation Studios. While the group has not toured an extensive amount as of yet, thanks to a new partnership with the all purpose Chicago based company Heavy Hitter Inc, the band plans to be anywhere and everywhere to get this album into the hands of true fans of artistic expression worldwide.
