I don’t like this style of playing at all - It’s got no soul or musicality. But I’d be stupid to dismiss it. It takes monster technique to pull off convinclingly; the one-handed rolls (in time!) are sickness…

so joe im a huge fan of yours but anyways can u give us any tips on how to develop such a quick freehand technique ive pretty much just been workn out of stick control for the snare drummer and doing rudiments with a metronome with a lot of practice but i cant see ever gettn that fast but any help would be awesome

Not much impressed! i think he’s a great drummer but these blast beats get sooooo boring after some time! and by the way if you have the skills to play the freehand technique that fast, it isn’t as hard as most people think!

Yes its me and thank you. Its fun man. Just trying to record new stuff and see what happens. I live really far away so its tough to be like a normal band. So we will just see what happens.
