How Do I Start A Metal Band?
I PLAY DRUMS AND IM GOOD AT DOING HEAVY METAL BEATS AND I WANNA BE IN A BAND THAT PLAYS THAT TYPE OF MUSIC. BAND EXAMPLE: TRIVIUM, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, AS I LAY DYING, CHIODOS- BANDS LIKE THAT
BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO START THAT KINDA BAND
a lot of music stores, concert venues, etc. have flyers for bands who want musicians or musicians who are looking for bands. check out that sort of thing, talk to friends who are into music, get the word out. depending on where you live, you could post flyers or go on the internet to find bands in your area
Get a bunch of friends together, play instruments badly, and scream lyrics at the top of your lungs.
Try getting a myspace
your gonna need a bassist, a guitarist, maybe a second guitarist one of which needs to be able to play solos and one of you need to be able to sing if not, a singer,just get some friends together that are interested then just jam from the soul brother!!! rock on~!!!!!!
