How To Sing Metal Vocals, Like Matt Tuck?
My friends want me to sing in their band. Now I’m a good singer, if this was an R&B group I’d kick ***, but for metal I just can’t make my voice harsh enough. Can someone tell my like in a step-by-step way how to sing more metal like?
Scream. Seriously. And after you lose your voice from it- you’ll have a natual rasp. Your voice will heal- so you’ll have to train it to be like that.

Don’t scream with your throat like that!!! Use the technique “Fry Screaming” it is a lot safer. It is what Matt tuck uses. Learn it if you wanna scream properly. It may affect your voice a little with overabuse and without warming up but I won’t go into detail. Do it properly and you will not extremely damage your vocal chords.
