Another band, met my tough for Jones, melody centered music, with progressive creativities. I admit, I'm morbidly addicted to Symphony X, Kamelot, and now. Karma is on the place, slow, fast, driving, pounding, epic-sounding in some places. They are like the other bands I love, not ego-driven, low free guitar beating little bombastic show, that does not fit into the framework of the entire music. Everything fits, they show teamwork, and there is no congestion (thank heaven). Do not fall into the trap that so many bands fall into guitar-driven (or Rhapsody Malmsteen as an example), where the guitar noise, and then the melody and the message of the song is lost in the noise and pounding distorted technical play . These guys love music, and it shows. Many interesting instruments, vocals and various deposits. And Khan simply cranks. King Khan is awesome! I love these guys. Karma is awesome,

An Amazing Album!!!
A great combination of orchestral and heavy metal. The arrangements are very complex and interesting, not to mention that Kahn is the MAN!
Since this review is based on two later Kamelot CD's, it is a rare example of being able to look forward to the future instead of the usual nostalgia for the past. The music here is better than the previous one (The Fourth Legacy) and the growing brilliance of Epica and The Black Halo. Khan's voice has developed noticely and the band overall is sharper than in the former, but rather the expected improvement in the second. However, Kamelot less than perfect is better than the best music from many other bands and easily rates four brands. (See my profile for a brief discussion on the assessment of my philosophy.)
True. I bought this album to give to my friend – it is his kind of music – but it finally, not only that it was definitely his kind of music, but also mine. Normally we do not agree. He likes Thrash and Power Metal, but I like Doom and Gothic Metal. Or at least that's how it usually goes. I love this record. I love this record. Nothing of what I usually hear, but in this there is finally something that he and I can agree on.
Kamelot rocks.
For a random selection, I think that I am a winner again.

Standard for any fan and priceless to those who aren’t.
Karma is one of many mold-breaking records by Kamelot.
Featuring timeless pieces such as “Forever” and “Karma”, it also boasts the three-part masterpiece “Elizabeth”…

this is awesome material. worth every penny.
I thought I’d never hear a group that was better than Queensryche. I must not have looked that hard because in the last two days I found a couple bands that not only met, but…

Still Epica
Kamelot can not seem to go wrong. Four whole albums later than Karma, they’re still rolling out Epic, catchy, and best of the best albums.

“Will you revive from the chaos in my mind?”
4.5 stars. I would really like to point out that the songcraft here is excellent, but there are a couple of negatives that eventually downgrade the album.

Start of the climb – a healthy three stars
This album starts with an instrumental track. That and the neat cover should tell you that your getting an accomplished Euro metal product tinged with a touch of self importance…

Great Band With Tremendous Talent
I prefer Epica and The Black Halo over Karma, but this is the first one that got me into Kamelot so it deserves its place right below those outstanding albums.

Best Power Metal Band Out There
Okay, Khan’s not the greatest singer in the world. Youngblood’s not the greatest guitarist. But we know from basketball that it takes more than just having the greatest players…
