Perhaps the highlight of the 55th Annual Grammy Awards happened before the official telecast when local rockers Halestorm's "Love Bites " won the award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance beating out far more established acts Anthrax, Iron Maiden, Lamb of God, Marilyn Manson and Megadeth.
