The song comes off the band's long-awaited fourth album, "Fortress", which will be released on October 8 via EMI Label Services. From the opening acoustic guitar work on "Cry Of Achilles" to the closing riff of the epic title track, it is clear ALTER BRIDGE are back to reclaim their place as one of hard rock's standout acts. The album was helmed by longtime ALTER BRIDGE producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette, known for his work with FALLING IN REVERSE, STORY OF THE YEAR and INCUBUS, to name a few. The debut single, "Addicted To Pain", is currently impacting radio and is looking to continue the chart-topping success ALTER BRIDGE has come to know around the world. The band released a visualizer video on YouTube on August 7 so fans could hear the new single and that has been viewed over 340,000 times to date. "Fortress" track listing: 01. Cry Of Achilles 02. Addicted To Pain 03. Bleed It Dry 04. Lover 05. The Uninvited 06. Peace Is Broken 07. Calm The Fire 08. Waters Rising 09. Farther Than The Sun 10. Cry A River 11. All Ends Well 12. Fortress ALTER BRIDGE recently announced its only U.S. show of 2013, set to take place on October 4 at the House Of Blues in Orlando, Florida. The band will then head over to Europe where they will begin an extensive headlining world tour that will run from October 16 through November 16 and will feature SHINEDOWN and HALESTORM joining the band on select dates. ALTER BRIDGE will also make a triumphant return to Wembley Arena in London on October 18, a venue they sold out on the "ABIII" tour cycle and documented with the CD/DVD "Alter Bridge Live At Wembley".
