    Getting A Bit Too Mainstream
Once upon a time, All That Remains was a pretty powerful melodic death metal band known for their rapid fire double bass attack and the better than average vocals of Phil Labonte…

I went to this album 4 stars, until I heard again and until the fall of the ideals. I then that I was nice, because I so much love ATR. These two albums just do not compare. The instruments on this album is very good, but as usual, Labonte has his awesome metalcore voice. In the case of the ideals we see Labonte with a crazy hardcore restrictions scream, followed by a beautiful voice. On this album I think that voice has developed into an average regular old voice. It is obvious that Adam DUTKIEWICZ (Killswitch Engage) is not on this album, as he, with all their previous albums. Labonte seems to be a backdrop for the music with his new robot voice. ATR is obviously trying to go mainstream with this release and in turn killing most loved what I know about it so much.
This album is not terrible, but if you have long been a fan of ATR, since it starts I feel you will be disappointed, as I have with this new direction the band is. There are a few tracks sandwich in the middle, similar to the case of ideals, but this album as a whole is a new sound for the band especially on the new voice prosthesis Labonte. Hardcore fans looking for ATR ATR is known clay you can buy tracks individually, rather than buy the whole album. This album is definitely mediocre as a whole in my book. :-(

    Extremely Disappointed
All That Remains was one of my favorite bands. It was great to see them grow from Behind Silence To Solitude, which was a great first album, to This Darkened Heart, which was…

    It Depends
If this is the first ATR album you listen to you might actually really like it, and I couldn’t blame you.

A little bit different, but still great!!!
The first song I heard off this cd was “Chiron” and then I heard “Two Weeks” and i thought to myself “Damn this album is f***in’ awesome!!!

In toooo see many reviews for Phils vocals, if we lack a very important aspect of this band. The instrumental pieces on this album are just as good as the case of ideals, and you are not to implement. Yes, the band is known for singing Phils, but do you think they would be anywhere without PHENOMINAL drums by Shannon Lucas? (Though they Jason Costa now) or playing Mike and Oli? You set the guys too much on the part of the band, do not forget that a tribute TOURING someone VOICE. Listen, in a drummer, and I ask you all the respect vocalists in the world, and they have a pinpionting subparagraph album and their debt is BS. Sometimes the song can be as intense as past albums. The CD is good, and THATS THAT.

“All That Remains' last two albums were fantastic in their own rights, with the technical achievements of lead guitarist Oli Herbert and an excellent mix of styles from the singer Philip Labonte. Any fan of the group has their preference between the two, whether it be the rebellious passion “This darkened heart” or the intense, clean-cut work of the group in “The Fall of Ideals.” There was a lot of hype around the new version, and some questions remain: Is there going in a new direction and creativity in the table? And if someone has never been in possession of an ATR album before, this is where he / she should?
The fact that the matter is, this is not when a new handset should. In “Overcome”, the group now has a producer, a vital component to the tone and style of the host you buy in the shops. Labonte is dissatisfied with his singing in the past, because he experiments with a touched-up version of clean vocals, that at the end sounded more authentic than tough or passionate. Herbert has a great task of extending his solos, adding a new step that will surely find many fans – let it be known that some songs are certainly very difficult, especially Chiron – but in the end, the band has opted for guitar tone and focus more on catchy melodies and this new kind of singing. Nevertheless, it is fun to hear many of these songs, because the choruses are often in the back of your mind. The biggest problem with the changes does not mean that they are bad: they were simply bad.
In an attempt to appeal to the masses and hopefully sell more albums, ATR is a hybrid album that is difficult to either hardcore or metal fans Alternative rock fans. “Two Weeks” is clearly an attempt to radio-friendly metal (so they lose touch the metal) and “Forever in your hands” is an emotional song that is not with the rest of the album. In fact, if the CD-ripping, the standard genre is rock, not metal.
At the end, this album is a decent hard rock album by himself, but compared to the earlier work of what I consider a fantastic and enjoyable metalcore band, it is a bit of dissapointment. If you have a standalone mainstream heavy metal album that is fun, “overcome” to try. If you have more of a hardcore fans who enjoy intense guitar riffs and a combination of growling and clean vocals, check out their older albums first.

    Solid album
Many people had a fear after “The Fall of Ideals” that this band would not be able to top that record.

    Progressive
All that remains is most definitely a remarkable band. The field of music they chose to place themselves in is metal, but it is more of a progressive style of metal.

    Crashing Down from Lofty Heights
It’s so sad to see what happened to one of my favorite bands. All That Remains’ previous offering, The Fall of Ideals, is my favorite melodic metalcore album to date.

    Can we say SELLOUT !?!
Pathetic. Yet another band that has been around for years and trys to cash in and completly alter their sound.

    Some sweet metal!
I haven’t been listening to these guys very long all, in fact I just dug em up recently. I’m giving it 4 stars because I think it’s above average metal with great melody.

The Fall of All That Remains
At first this didn’t even sound like the same lead singer from the last album. I don’t like their sound, it has no edge to it. The singing sounds especially sugar coated.
