Surprisingly enough i was not a great Queen fan until i saw a South African production titled “Queen at the Opera” which re-created their hit songs in an operatic twist.

Queen’s Greatest Hits 1 & 2
The only drawback would be to say I cannot hear my copy which I take in the car. I have made a copy so that I don’t lose my original. Don’t know why…..

Nice mix of music
I got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. It has a lot of really great songs on 2 discs.

Almost complete Greatest Hits, but still an excellent gift.
Like the title states, it is an “almost” greatest hits, but still an excellent gift. The reason, that I say “almost”, is that it doesn’t have tracks from the first Highlander…

Not Happy
I bought this CD as NEW,and it came without plastic wrap, liner notes, and the CD was dirty. It kept skipping and I finally looked at it and it was filthy.

Queen is without question one of the greatest rock bands of all time. With their incomparable lead singer Freddie Mercury and its canon of some of the greatest songs ever on the airwaves, Queen are legends. And of course with the most legendary bands, they have several Greatest Hits collection on the market for casual fans. In 1995, Hollywood Records released the two-CD collection “Queen – Greatest Hits Vols. 1 & 2 “. It contains 34 tracks, digitally remastered and has most of her hits. How does it up? Read on for the positive and negative.
Positive:
-If you are a casual fan of Queen, is only the owners of their biggest hits, as it is an almost perfect collection, as you will find “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Somebody To Love,” ” We Are The Champions, “” Another One Bites the Dust “and all the other classic Queen hits.
-They are also a lot of rarely heard tracks such as “Seven Seas Of Rhye”, “Do not Stop Me Now,” “Now I am here,” “Save Me” and “Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy”.
Disc two contains a set of excellent European hits that the North American audience might not be familliar with, such as “Radio Ga Ga,” “I Want It All,” “The Show Must Go On” , “I Want To Break Free,” “I'm Going Slightly Mad” and “Who Wants To Live Forever”.
-The liner notes are very good.
All of the songs sound absolutely fantastic.
-It 's relatively cheap and easy to find.
Keywords:
-The first disc does not fill the eighty minutes time, clocking in a mere 58:29. That means there was enough space to “Tie Your Mother Down,” “Keep Yourself Alive,” “Stone Cold Crazy” and possibly “Body Language”.
-If I am not mistaken, “Bicycle Race” is being processed.
disc two failed at what my favorite Queen song ever, “These Are The Days Of Our Lives.” I've knocked off “One Vision” to the song.
Hollywood Records also has two single disc collections Queen on the market, “Classic Queen” and “Greatest Hits”. On their own, they are not really their ground, since both are missing a lot of Queen classics. But when purchased together, you can not ask for a comprehensive collection of the Queen, as they are even better than this collection. These include all the missing songs I've already mentioned, plus some other interesting gemstones. The only drawback is that CDs do not contain “Breakthru”, “The Invisble Man,” “Friends Will Be Friends,” “Innuendo” and “It's A Hard Life”. My advice is to the two single disc collections and download the songs I just mentioned, so that the possibility of a casual fan, all the queen, he or she will ever need.
Bottom line: as big as this collection, I recommend the “Classic Queen” and “Greatest Hits”, both of which are purchased together. Download all the songs that are missing here from these two, and you will.
