Rammstein – Mutter Reviews

This German industrial-metal machine has proven itself to be quite popular, with their engaging, potent brand of electronic-enhanced guitar rock and outlandish stage shows appealing to everyone from young teens to fortysomethings. (Their last studio release, 1998’s Sehnsucht, went gold in the U.S.) On their third studio album, Mutter, the sextet augments its propulsive sound with a live string section and a soprano on a few tracks, while offering two mellower tracks to show th (more…)

Rammstein is back! This crazy, Teutonic, metal-spewing, fire destroyed the Germans are back and with a bang! This CD is definitely a change of tone for the industrial metal band, which is big in the States a few years back with Sehnsucht (their second album). Rammstein, the mother who shows her audience that they really where the goods and will not be repeated, since most metal bands are. Peppering mother with a large dose of orchestral influence blended with eerily voiced lyrics and a healthy dose of grinding guitars, creepy samples and superbly formatted songs, the group from East Germany managed to complete their creative director and a refreshing sound that brings the memory of their last albums, but not to a stereotypical CD. In this Rammstein album, which critics public views of their music in the song Links 234 (the critics once accused Rammstein of Nazism, that is their cleverly disguised up on the wrong information). Gothic, classical influence is pleasant in the sun (Sun) and Nebel (Fog) to very good results. A fantastic sense of horror is carefully threaded into the music, Mein Herz Brennt (My Heart Burns) and clock (Music Box), which in my personal opinion, the Paragon of the album. Almost metallic, with a new melody and crunching, you will find fascinating in hermaphrodites (hermaphrodites), Rein Raus (In Out), Adios (a very successful punk sound plays here), Feurer Frei (Fire!), And the incomparable I Will (I Want). A very dramatic mode of metal is in the title-track Mother (mother), with sadness and a heavy pessimism seeps, but also a very important message behind it. Overall, this album proves Rammstein's most intriguing work deepened as a band in musical lands still to discover, without any errors. Fans of the past, the album is refreshing and fascinating. Newcomers will discover, Rammstein, because nobody has ever seen before, fully matured in their music and their height (so far at least) of her talent. Mother waited for almost four years and Rammstein not fail their fans in the provision of goods. A must BUY! Even for those not particularly partial to the German music of this proves to be an album on which make an exception. Fantastic, overwhelming, and the charming, not to be missed!

anchorage some national attention after their song “Heirate Me” on the soundtrack to David Lynch's “Lost Highway”, the German outfit Rammstein has sold well in the U.S., although the texts in German language only. The intense guitar riffs of songs like “Buck Dich” and “Angel” is served too popular, and the video for “Du Hast” even some MTV airplay. Rammstein seemed briefly to enter the U.S. market big time. And with her latest album, Mother, they have done everything right. With its powerful brands and a variety of guitar music and text, this is the best Rammstein album by far. A few songs a string orchestra, and Till Lindeman not more vocal than his previous guttural growls. Fans of previous albums (Herzeleid and Sehnsucht) will feel at home with “My heart is burning,” the single “Sonne” and “Feuer Frei!” – These licks are as exhilirating as they have done something. But the songs are not on the guitar, as the orchestral arrangements and the further use of electronics to the mood more songs. The musical experiment is a rousing success – another step that is not too ambitious, but just right. Texts, mother is unbelievable. A great album to the music if the songs' meanings are discovered, it is one of the best albums of the year. Rammstein fans should themselves a favor and a German / English dictionary – you are gaining new respect for these people. The lyrics are as diverse as the music: the creeping evil of “Mein Herz brennt (Rammstein is one of the best songs of all time), the apocalyptic images of the” sun “, the haunting and eerie” clock “and” fog ” ;. And in case you were wondering, yes, the sexually deviant content is also here: the hilarious “Zwitter” ( “hybrid” – trust me, it's a riot) and “Rein Raus”. Rammstein mother deserves to be a huge hit. Maybe a song in English would be welcome to her call, and an album with such fantastic music just cries out for an instrumental track or two, but despite this, mother is by far the best, most diverse and powerful album from Rammstein to date.

In parent, Rammstein break away from the almost one-dimensional onslaught of their previous albums to create a powerful, diverse album of exceptional musical quality. The opening track, My Heart Burns, is a ripper. The texts speak of demons, ghosts and black Faeries creep by children and bedroom is through a strong melody, which only blows you away, if he is in full swing. Almost every track on the album from here on with something that makes it unforgettable. Only a small change in the tempo here, a little change in tone there, a few powerful chorus on most sections and see you soon this album growing every time you listen to it. Tracks such as links 234, Feuer Frei Rein Raus-and will satisfy fans of Rammstein Pacy metal used in their previous albums, while the sun, hermaphrodite, I Will and foot-stomping head banging joy, Adios that oozes with a stylish finish and assembly, which is often not in this genre of music. Rammstein also shows a softer side with the title of mother and fog, slower tempo, but no less brilliant. For me the best song on the album but is Spieluhr. Superb, but uncanny texts speak of a child buried alive by accident with a music box in his / her hands. The chorus is fantastic, just the catchiest thing I've heard in any form of music in a long time, and the whole song is just awesome together like all the other tracks on this album. To summarize: The best tracks: Mein Herz Brennt, sun, clock, Adios Worst Track: Rein Raus, if you have to get for a mother as the album offers an incredible musical experience, and each song deserves its place on the album – no fillers here. The deep, rumbling sound needs a pair of decent speakers – Turn up the volume and prepare to the windows rattle. Rammstein is a band on the rise, it is safe. The mere fact that they differ from their dimensional metalish tone on the two previous albums, and ventured into a smarter, more orchestral and melodic, but still relish hard and heavy sound (yep, the parents are definitely sure that if you find it , hearing this lot in a dark room!) for the mother, shows us that this is a band with massive potential. I can not wait for their next effort – hopefully they are in German. Rammstein in the English language will not be the same. Check out [URL] for the English translation of German texts.

I truly love this album. I was first attracted to the band after hearing Sonne on a Kerrang C.D. I would just repeat it and listen to it over and over.
