I’m new to singing and would like to sing Power Metal. I’d like to do something similar to Kamelot or maybe Versailles. Where do I start learning?
I’ve been playing guitar for quite some time and have a well developed ear.
My friends want me to sing in their band. Now I’m a good singer, if this was an R&B group I’d kick ***, but for metal I just can’t make my voice harsh enough. Can someone tell my like in a step-by-step way how to sing more metal like?
What is a good drink for stage if you sing Metal, not soft pop or opera?
You know how guys can sing high pitched like girls? well can girls scream like Johannes[Deadlock] or David Draiman[Disturbed]?
And if we can, how come I never hear any girl screamers?

Im black and i was going to start a metal band. And I was like it would be cool to have a black girl sing metal with me. But then when i thought about it, i have never seen or heard any black female sing metal. Maybe you can give me a band name with a girl in it that does or someone you know.
When I was searching for lyrics to the Metal Gear theme song, The Best Is Yet To Come, I got a lot of results from Limp Bizkit.
Now, I know they obviously didn’t sig the original game music, since that was Aoife Ni Fhearraigh.
But did Limp Bizkit do a cover?
Did they sing in Gaelic?
I can’t really imagine it, but now I’m itching with curiosity.
I can’t find any info about it, and I can’t find an mp3 or live performance anywhere.
