Vintersorg is definately my favorite, Ensiferum kicks ***, and I don’t know if you’d really consider them Folk metal or purely Viking Metal but Einherjer is one of my favorites
Another Viking metal band that is very close to Folk is Thyrfing, they kill all in their path!!!!!

I agree with Darth, I’m no expert on folk metal, but I really like Lyriel. I also like Midnattsol, although they’re more of a gothic metal band with folk influences. But they’re a favorite.
Then pretty much all the ones that get listed I generally like …. like what Jester posted, basically. Great stuff.
I won’t even say I’m a Folk Metal expert cause I’m certainly not. I do however like the Hungarian Band Dalriada a lot. If You haven’t heard them, try it…they rule.
