What Was One Of The First, Best Hardcore Metal Bands?

i need bands who either helped start metal/hardcore or made a big impact on hardcore metal. the bands lyrics need to be clean please, its for school.

    Well hardcore came from the roots of punk. Metal came from a completely different angle and fused with hardcore to create Metalcore and some of the more modern hardcore bands. I am not too sure on who would be the most influential bands in fusing these two together, but I would say Earth Crisis might be a good place to start looking. Good luck!

    Led Zepplin or Black Sabbath were a couple of bands who made a big impact on hardcore metal. They were a couple of the earlier bands, back from the 70’s. Led Zepplin got their name when Page, Jeff Beck and The Who’s Keith Moon and John Entwistle were discussing the idea of forming a group, Moon joked, “It would probably go over like a lead balloon”. To which Entwistle allegedly replied, “…a Lead Zeppelin!” Check out wikipedia for more. They did a song called “Good Times, Bad Times”’s the link for the lyrics:
