Wrath (Deluxe) [ENHANCED] [EXPLICIT LYRICS] Review (by Lamb of God)
Deluxe two CD edition of the 2009 album from the American Heavy Metal heads including a bonus CD that contains the ’stems’ of the album (separated musical parts). Wrath is inspired by and based on the 10 plagues from the book of Exodus. After the reflective Sacrament (2006), a deeply personal album that found Blythe exorcising his personal demons, Wrath turns its lyrical focus outward, and returns to more of the breakneck riffing that characterized the band’s early material. mediocre
I dont just bash albums but no reason, to any one that might think that ? Thats not whats happening here.
In the past month I have been reading the early reviews of this album, and it was always a mixed response. To be honest, I get this album between Sacrament and Ashes of the Wake. It is still somewhat a raw sound (not like their older stuff), and it has the “radio-friendly” Sound of the sacrament. I know this will dissappoint die-hard fans of their earlier albums. I classify myself as one of the fans, but I'm not at all dissappointed. The sad fact is that bands. This is far less of a dissappointment like The Haunted latest effort ….. ugh. We live in a terrible time in the bands just do not seem to keep their amazing, and they lose all their brutal sound. Zorn believes that, the quality good enough. As for me, will never be as big as the Ashes Wake, or how the locks Burns (that would be their best album, if the recording quality up to par with ash), but Zorn will definitely stay in my CD player for the next month or so. It is a solid album and worth a chance. I can say it's one of those albums that needs to grow you. I will always log in and my eyes, they are one of the most enduring metal bands out there.

Lamb of God are pure aggressive METAL!!!
Lamb of God are one of the best acts out there with their unrelenting sound that pummels the HELL out of your eardrums.
boys and girls sit and let me give you a story:
a few years ago in this country called America
is complete and total despair, because
our great heroes Pantera and Metallica were dead
during this terrible day American Metal coma
there was not much worth listening brutality are more
sure some hardy stalwarts like Slayer and Cannibal Corpse
still out there, somewhere in the distance, crying:
ZOMBIE! SATAN! ZOMBIE! SATAN!
But it was like ephedrine, to a hardcore junkie
And in most cases (and for the purposes of this story)
good old-fashioned red white and blue kids like you and me
were forced to a lot of Scandinavian black
and something strange names metalcore …
there was nothing … nothing …
Blythe pulled up in BLACK LABEL
when I first heard,
I could not believe it … it has tears in my eyes
it was as if … Dimebag was still with us
it was as if … Lars and James smoking pole
and then joy Rapture Ecstasy
as the palaces burn, the ash sequence, sacrament,
and now anger
I devoured them all (because I was fukcing hunger!)
Lamb of God's hand saved Sing-American metal
And for that we have our loyalty
If you have not seen them live then I'm sorry for you
Hail true metal! And pick up Wrath TODAY!
It has just occurred to me that this is not a review at all …

I guess that’s what happens when you change to a bigger label….and let fans tell you how to record….
I have been a LOG fan since I first heard As The Palaces Burn, and have bought all cd’s since…except for this one.
Lamb Of God are a great shock inducing metal machine, and one of my current favorites, along with Machine Head and Meshuggah. “Anger” is a logical successor of “Sacrament” with another sterling and riffs heavy enough to give you a hernia just listening to it.
Plus, the guitars are always better with time. The playback level has improved dramatically since the “New American Gospel” days, it was more of an outing with a sludgy metalcore and virtually no work. “anger” has swing, opening with a tasteful acoustic intro leads into the bombast we expected.
LOG What apart is the bands' willingness to adapt to the classic metal stylings, but the boundaries wherever possible. The deals with Randy Blythe. This cookie monster grunts writes a lot smarter than most texts outfits, and one can understand him. The problem is, as long as he can with other singers who favor the same style go before his vocal chords as they are through a tree shredder?
I can not help but think that in a few years of this cookie monster singers will work and only able to communicate with sign language, as is the stress on her voice, not only in the studio, but night after night on tour. Take my advice, Mr Blythe – You can not keep it for ever – better begin to sing. Other than that, “anger” is a fine metal plate and is considered one of the best year.

Very solid
This is my first LoG experience so I can’t compare or contrast with their other material. Standing alone, however, “Wrath” is pretty good. Very heavy. Typical Metalcore.

What? You’ll have to speak up! I can’t hear you!
This album is almost a physical assault. It is HEAVY. It is nothing like Sacrament or Ashes of the Wake. It has to grow on you…

Perhaps their best
I have to admit that this cd took more than one listen for it to grow on me but now that it has I haven’t listened to anything else.

Wrath..Unleashed
For all the people who think Lamb of God sold out with Sacrament, well here’s Wrath. They’ve gone back to their”Burn the Priest”,writing style.

Solid Album With Variety
While Ashes of the Wake remains my favorite LoG album to date, Wrath holds it’s own. It may be my new second favorite, displacing Sacrament.

A Shadow of Their Former Self
The fact that so many fans have given this a 5 star rating just proves to me how far the music scene has fallen.
